Azhagarsamiyin kudhirai

A neatly presented feature films in recent years. This movie is an Feel Good movie with an message “Please try to think in others shoes”. An high Hats off to the Hero and Director. They have conveyed the message clear and sound.

Before climax the hero gets a chance to escape with his horse. But the hero turns down saying his action this would shatter village people’s happiness. This makes the movie so Feel Good as an whole.

Best thing in the movie is casting, the director was clear in fitting the Character to the required script. The era of making movies looking behind your Home has already arrived (From Director Bala, Amir, Vasantabalan...) and this movie adds an another dimension to it. No heroism, no blood and no punch dialogues but makes us to recollect all scenes, here the director wins.

The hero with his horse, the Panchayat President, the Malayali samiyar, village minor, Police inspector lives in our mind for long time. Humor in the village background makes us laughs especially the village people’s innocence is captured in good humor sense.  The kind of story telling and plot getting uncovered is too good, should say the director has done his best beyond traditional masala movie making.

Raavanan Hits and Misses

Ravanan Review
Best & Hits -

Camera- Cant forget the scenes taken in Falls and mountain hills

Stunt- Climax Stunt taken in the Wooden bridge

Ashiwarya - Beautiful eyes, still she is the queen of Indian cinema

Mani Ratanam- In the Movie, Mani brings in the Problem faced in Maoists hit areas, Problem during Verappan Hunting (STF Vs Tribal). Maybe incase if you are an keen observer of Politics and Society, you would appreciate this.  Mani makes an hidden message about this and wraps up the movie as Ramayana story, just imagine the movie without climax , you will get to know this.

Music - The BGM was good one, the silent vocal sound coming behind ash was good and the climax BGM was the best work of AR.

Casting Ranjitha- Ranjitha was another notable character, though she doesnt have dialogues, he was given whistle on every scenes (Really wonder why Main Choose her)

Worst and Misses

Vikram Mannerism - The mannerism tried by Vikram was worst, the tanda naka tanda naka was poor. Mani should be trained with Director Bala for such mannerisms

karthick- Since this was a story based on epic, they need not introduce karthick as Monkey or stuff like jumping, the guy deserves more and he is an good actor. He has been uterly wasted

Story Delivery- The movie doesnt pitches any ever more strong, even after the movie it just makes people confuse (what actually he is trying to say???)

Bottom Line- Movie is only for people who know the story well before they see, or must be an Camera lover to enjoy the picturisation. A must only in theater watch Movie.

Avatar- two avatars......

Avatar- The name relates to be more Indian style and also recollects me a cartoon character shown in Tamil Chuti Tv- Avatar,  but it carries not link to the country. but it sightly links the cartoon story. Yup, almost all story relates to Good Vs Evil , these two Avatars sounds almost similar.

Avatar- James cameron movie, the story basically relates to another planet, where human beings from earth try to occupy extra space beyond Mother earth....and its goes off with usual James cameron & Spielberge's extraterrestrial masala.

CG is the most best acclaimed part, and its worth watching the movie in 3D. The back ground score is too good, especially the hero's flying scenes and second half in climax scenes.
Its purely a theater movie, people buying CDs are shelling the money on well without water....!!!!  Chennai's movie mall screening Avatar 3D are running full packed even after a month of release.

IT business with Tier II bank like co-operative banks- Calculated Risk

After a big recession underway, IT business particularly companies getting into Tier II markets like financial services and banking customers like Co-operative banks and Co-operative societies.

Companies have to mind a point, about the Infrastructure & the knowledge levels of Tier II clients. The companies engaged with the business clients of Tier I like big PSU, would be under risk incase they presume the same business would work for the Tier II clients too. The big reason is the power of Tier II clients spend on Infra and consultations would be a million dollar question.

They are many small vendors in the IT space who survive in the market in doing small application developments & batch process for major PSU like mobile banking, portals etc which includes the organization which I am currently working with.

These small vendors have and had been riding on the base provided by the other big organizations in IT to survive. But if these small vendors’ targets tier an II client which doesn’t had any prior experience with any IT majors, the have to understand the risk and then involve them. It would be presumed that there is more opportunities involved, but this could be a higher risk looking at the cost part of the small vendors for implementation.

The organization which enters the market first would bear the burnt and the rest organizations following should take the lessons learnt by the first entrants.

Got my housing Loan sanctioned through LAPS

After a very long struggle with an PSU bank, I have got my home loan sanctioned finally. Thanks to God. Its was an happy ending. Crossed all major obstacles.

The best thing in this is, I got my loan sanctioned through our own credit software LAPS(Lending automation Processing system, used across many Public sector banks in India) , which we develop in our company and that too i am involved in it. Makes me to feel happy about that.

Ambattur roads pathetic condition

After recent heavy rains in Chennai, the stretch of roads between Thirumulaivoyal and Ambattur industrial estate is highly pathetic, people traveling are looking for clues for roads. What can be seen is holes and pits in the stretch of 6kms between the two areas.

Interestingly this is the way connecting other parts of the north Chennai and east Chennai which includes anna nagar, koyembadu. People who go through this way, consume atleast around 40min to travel in public bus. The heavy vehicles traveling across the road add to traffic chaos.

I request the officials incase if this hears to your minds, please visit the roads and initiate immediate action to solve the problems.

This is the New Pepsi Logo unveiled which really sucks compared to the present one.

Is India a poor nation

One needs to rethink if India is a poor country.
With personal account deposit bank of $1500 billion in foreign reserve which have been misappropriated, an amount 13 times larger than the country's foreign debt.

Black money in Swiss banks -- Swiss Banking Association report, 2006 details bank deposits in the territory of Switzerland by nationals of following countries:

Top five

India---- $1456 billion
Russia---$ 470 billion
UK-------$390 billion
Ukraine- $100 billion
China-----$ 96 billion

Scandalous politicians and corrupt IAS, IRS, IPS officers, Dishones Industrialists have deposited in foreign banks in their illegal personal accounts a sum of about $ 1500 billion, which have been misappropriated by them. This amount is about 13 times larger than the country’s foreign debt. With this amount 45 crore poor people can get Rs 1,00,000 each. This huge amount has been appropriated from the people of India by exploiting and betraying them.

Once this huge amount of black money and property comes back to India, the entire foreign debt can be repaid in 24 hours. After paying the entire foreign debt, we will have surplus amount, almost 12 times larger than the foreign debt. If this surplus amount is invested in earning interest, the amount of interest will be more than the annual budget of the Central government. So even if all the taxes are abolished, then also the Central government will be able to maintain the country very comfortably.

Facing the customer in Business meet & discussions

A major activity of a Business analyst or a project manager is to handle the requirements of the customer. As a project manager and business analyst of my organization I was made to meet my client KVB (Karur vysya bank) early this month for requirement gathering and feasibility study. I carried this activity for almost five days at the client site.

I would say not that this meet was a total success to my ends. But the things happened to me in these five days has been tremendous learning opportunity. Few majors stuff that I learnt during this meet was Persuasive speaking, keen listening skill, and more & more patience and persistence.

My task was to get the requirements from the customer, and it was I started the game. In the discussion happened, the way the customer held his perception about my product was good indeed. As we drilled down the discussion it was hell coming on my way. The discussion ended with conclusion and with many issues unresolved. This made my mind think the reason for the unresolving of issues.

The reason I listed down myself are my inability to persuasive the customer on few points and my ability to grasp the entire perception of my customer. Let me highlight what persuasive is all about Persuasive Communications

To make wide scale changes and convince a lot of people to have a certain attitude about something is very difficult. This is the problem that professionals have when trying to get others to share their view. One way that mass change can be orchestrated is through the use of persuasive communication. Persuasive communication is a speech, television ad, or some kind of communication that advocates a particular side of an issue. Many persuasive communications fail to change attitudes while some are successful. There are an infinite number of tactics that can be used when making an argument.

Another major thing in meets is the patience in listening, which really helps in building up great relationship with the customer. This lack of patience will surely put the person in trouble irrespective of the side he belongs to, maybe a customer or the vendor.

The bottom line is, it’s up to us to keep it to a minimum. Keep in mind that customers are judging your every word and action, all while building expectations. If you fall short in their expectations in comparison to your competition, your competition may earn the loss by default.

Automatic ticket vending machines in MRTS- Thumbs down.

As an frequent traveler in chennai suburban trains, I came across few modernisation initiatives by the railway authorities. Feeling that government and the railway minister are actively participating in consumer friendly attitude.

The initiative done by the govt was to decrease the waiting time for tickets in the counter. These Vending machines were installed in stations in places where there is very high floating population like west mambalam, central, park station.
However such solutions needs to be given thumbs-up only if the people are accepting the right solution. But in this case, I shall give thumbs down. The major purpose of these machines are not satisfied, where the commuters are refusing to use them for a major reason that it is not user friendly. People ignore the concept of smart cards and its working nature.

The smart card was made for those not a regular traveler but a frequent traveler. People would really ignore to carry a card or any ticket kind of article for just for the sake of avoiding the queue while buying tickets. I would say the whole concept of smart cards have failed, Not the ticket vending system. Something similar to that of platform ticket vending machine would really help commuters. Here the failure of concept selling have costed the whole project.

So therefore I shall keenly advice the authorities concerned to have an emphatic look into new initiatives drafted by them and have "go-ahead" words over the project. As an whole request people do not waste the public money as was done here.
