After watching the tamil movie Nan-Kadaval,Actor Arya, plays the role of Agori in the tamil movie. I came to know about the life of Agori tribals, damm its really Cannibalism.
The tamil movie highlighted the begging mafia in a realistic way, its also the first Indian movie to do this concept. cheers and hats off to Director Bala's team and the production unit.

:) I am afraid the movie ended up giving you the wrong impression. Neither is bala's potrayal right.
Aghora just from a simple break up of the word comes from
A+Ghora = That which is not terrible.
Popular perception over the years have given the term a bad connotation....
They roam in the crematoriums because they know ultimately all will end up there , each one of us is a burning corpse of desires...so instead of going through the normal energy routes of bhakti , karma and jnana...they attempt a different route of wrenching open the chakras .
Sort of going through darkness to reach the light.
Cannibalism was never a part of it.Robert svoboda's at the left hand of god will give you an better Idea.
